Kalamazoo Public Safety is investigating a fatal traffic crash involving a pedestrian. On Sept. 17 at around 11:19 p.m., officers responded to a traffic crash involving a pedestrian near the intersection of East Kalamazoo Avenue and North Edwards Street.

KALAMAZOO, MI -- A Kalamazoo woman was hit by a vehicle and killed, according to police. The crash occurred at 11:19 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 17, near the intersection of East Kalamazoo Avenue and North Edwards Street, the Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety said in a news release.

A woman who was hit by a car late on Tuesday night in Kalamazoo on Tuesday died one day later in the hospital.
